Conferences

The Society organises regular scientific conferences, usually in the UK and Ireland. The sessions at each event are carefully planned to cover a wide range of topics at the cutting edge of microbiological research. The scientific content of the programmes are devised by four Divisions. Each conference includes:

Divisions

The Society caters for the different areas of modern microbiology through four divisions: Prokaryotic Microbiology, Eukaryotic Microbiology, Virology and Irish. Each division is divided into four themes.
